DESCRIPTION
- Constant tension load binders combine a lever style load binder and a compression unit to keep chains tensioned in bumpy road conditions when loads tend to shift. Compression units have been used for years in railroad logistics, where vibration and load shift are constant problems. Because the compression unit acts as a natural shock absorber, constant tension binders also work great as a vehicle tie-down. Less shock from the road is translated to the vehicle being transported. An industrial red finish protects the units from the elements and allows for easy identification. Always match the safe working load (SWL) of the binder to the grade and size of chain you are using.
